Manager of Training and Development

 

In 2005, Verified Identity Pass, Inc. launched Clear, the fast pass for airport security.  Now in our third year of operation, Clear has received rave reviews from members for our ground-breaking service and attention to customer service.  To support our expansion, we are seeking a Manager of Training and Development. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Member Services and Operations, the Manager of Training and Development will be responsible for training program development, delivery, and assessment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and update existing training programs and materials for retail operations and call center staff
  2. Create classroom, self-paced, OJT, and e-learning materials and communications related to program and process changes
  3. Implement e-learning program to support international expansion
  4. Assess training programs through defined metrics, participant feedback, and benchmarking against best-in-class service organizations
  5. Create training and certification programs to support promotion paths for operations supervisors and staff
  6. Ensure high standards of course delivery and instruction
  7. Manage consulting and freelance resources as necessary
  8. Participate in delivery of training (e.g. train the trainers)

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree in Education, Learning and Instructional Design, or Human Resources
  2. Min 5 years experience developing national training programs for premium retail, hospitality or other world-class customer service-focused organization(s)
  3. Experience developing, deploying and evaluating e-learning initiatives
  4. Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills
  5. Expert-level proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
  6. Experience with national or international organizations preferred
  7. Availability to travel (50%+ )
