Clear Card

How does the Clear card work?

Your Clear card enables you a fast pass through security lanes at the airport. The card stores your name, fingerprints, iris images, and photograph so that Clear attendants can verify your identification and allow you to use the Clear lane. All of the information on the card is encrypted. If you forget to bring your card to the airport, you will not be able to use the Clear lane and must enter the regular security lines.

Can I lend my card to a friend or family member?

No. The biometrics of another person will not match the biometrics stored on your Clear card, and people are only allowed into the Clear lane if their biometrics match their Clear card. This is one of the security benefits of Clear.
