Travel Clear With Hertz. Hertz Offers Travelers Up To Three Free Months in Clear, a Registered Traveler Program.

Park Ridge, NJ – The Hertz Corporation and Verified Identity Pass, Inc. – the creator of Clear, a private, voluntary, biometric 'fast pass' system in which registered travelers are granted expedited security screening at airports -- have teamed up to offer Hertz #1 Club and #1 Club Gold customers, as well as local area passengers, traveling to/from Orlando International Airport up to three (3) free months in Clear.

The Hertz offer provides travelers who are registered with Clear an additional free month of Clear membership for each year of such membership for which the travelers sign up. Clear has an annual subscription fee of $79.95 and members registering by November 1, 2005 are able to receive up to three free months with the Hertz special offer. Nearly, 9,000 travelers have enrolled in Clear since it began operations on July 19, 2005.

"Hertz has a long-standing history of making the travel process easier and more efficient for customers," commented Frank Camacho, Staff Vice President, Marketing for Hertz. "Taking this philosophy from life on the road and incorporating it into one's life while in an airport is another way Hertz aims to offer travelers quick, convenient and consistent service while enhancing their overall travel safety."

"By partnering with the leader in car rentals, we can effectively reach our target market of frequent business travelers looking for ways to expedite their trip. Corporations, as well as their employees, are always looking for ways to improve their efficiency while traveling, and CLEAR offers just such a benefit," said Courtney Nichols, Chief Operating Officer of Verified Identity Pass.

The Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Registered Traveler Program is supported by the National Business Travel Association. With more than 6 million frequent business travelers potentially eligible for the registered traveler program, Clear provides enrolled members with rapid processing through new airport screening procedures and improves the security screening process at airports by helping the TSA align screeners and resources with potential risks. Clear allows approved travelers to have expedited access through airport security.

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) is the first airport in the country to participate in a privately-run pilot program of the TSA's Registered Traveler Program. The program is operated with the approval and cooperation of the TSA and GOAA.

Hertz operates from more than 7400 locations in more than 150 countries worldwide.
